Disney Dinners - Tangled
Appetizer:
For the appetizer I knew I had to make Mother Gothel’s hazelnut parsnip soup, Rapunzel’s favorite! I used this recipe here.
Main Course:
As the main course I made angel hair pasta to resemble Rapunzel’s long golden hair. You can find the recipe here!
Side Dish:
I baked braided Challah bread to resemble Rapunzel’s hair when the little girls braid it all pretty in the Kingdom. (Mine came out a bit underdone, but was still very tasty!) I paired the bread with a mini cast iron skillet of butter.
Drink:
For the drinks I made “The Floating Lantern” which consisted of lavender simple syrup, lemonade, prosecco and ice balls filled with purple edible glitter for that enchanting sparkle.
Dessert:
Lastly, for dessert I made a chocolate chip cookie in a cast iron skillet using this recipe, mimicking the iconic frying pan Rapunzel carries for safety.
